6,142 Miles
A Mothers for Ceasefire Exhibit
Mothers* for Ceasefire is a group of parents and caregivers in Durham lovingly organizing against the ongoing genocide of Palestinians. In this exhibit, we used art as a portal for our grief and a tool of protest. 6,142 Miles raised funds for mutual aid in Gaza.
I co-organized this project with my dear friend Charla Rios. 6,142 was shown as the inaugural exhibit in the People’s Solidarity Hub 1809 space during the summer of 2024.
